All of the pages in this section are concerned with humane education for children of a primary school age (5-11 yrs).

We are aiming to build up a catalogue of  materials for you to download free of charge and use in your lessons.  New updates will be continually added so please check back frequently. All of the materials are provided in English but we can arrange for them to be translated in to Dutch, Danish, French, Bulgarian, Bahasa Indonesian, Bahasa Malaysian and possibly even Chinese and Korean.

Free bespoke Lesson planning

If you would like to teach your class or club about an aspect of animal welfare but don’t know where to start, AWEN would be happy to plan and prepare lessons and materials for you free of charge. All we ask in return is some constructive feedback and perhaps a photo of the lesson (subject to parental approval).
